Hey guys!

Awesome brainstorming has been going on here! I love the idea of a nuclear disaster but I am very keen on the idea of this demise coming in the shape of an egg! Yep yep...im obsessed with the egg...I just think it creates a really cool intro to the game. Just imagine its a nuclear egg developed and planted by some sort of alien and then we can also have some crop circles! The IFC concept to made me chuckle...very cool and lends itself to the more serious thread for the game. And I think we can really push these contrast's and playing off of stereotypes - it will develop a very creative endeavour which is what seems to give Darren a kick! And we'll have plenty of laughter along the way too!

Anyhoo right now im designing some more farm animals - been doing some zombies, playing with the mad cow disease concept. Found this image on www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=92332. Has some awesome concept designs for characters and backgrounds.

I know we'll refine the feel of the game tomorrow, but for now I think I have come up with my farmer hero...

Initially I was thinking of something along the lines of the design of the older looking girl, but during pre-production I came up with the little girl...I think the audience would get more of a kick out of playing her...this innocent looking kid but you can tell she has seen some nasty stuff and therefore has learnt to be tough. The original design is too sexy, doesn't fit with my idea of the feel of the game.

Oh and yeah...ill see you at 9am Monday punks!

Some things I think we need to address in tomorrows meeting are:

  • Overall feel of the game and who its aimed at

  • Organisation of blog site - end product has to be visual diary - consult outline

  • assign roles and clarify whos doing what

  • allocate time budget and set goals
P.s. Chris I would love a copy of your DVD's and the animal anatomy articles too...I can bring some DVD's tomorrow for you if you like! This would be awesome!

Good work punks, take care!
